"Willy Wizard" ("Young Willy Wizard Of Olden Times... His Spells Only Work If They're Spoken In Rhymes" ran the strapline) was a strip drawn by Cliff Brown that ran in Quackers from issue 19 to 25. The main character was a pointy-eared wizard who dealt with witches, trolls, fairies and giants and stood up for those in need ("I just nipped into the squire's wood for something to feed my starving family and he's set the dogs on me!")
