Sparkler was a weekly comic published by Amalgamated Press, launched on 20 October 1934 as a relaunch of My Favourite.[1] It was merged into Crackers on 5 August 1939.

It featured the work of artists such as Jack Greenall, Ray Bailey and Arthur Martin.[2][3]

Bailey contributed a strip entitled "The Chimps", reportedly the first strip for a British comic in which the artist was credited,[4] and "Hopeful Horice".[5] Sparkler also reprinted the Canadian comic strip Robin Hood and Company.[2]
