Mister Bignose, created by Jeremy Banks (aka Banx), was a regular character in Oink!, 1986-7.
Though he did indeed have a big nose, it was never the focus of the strip, which instead involved the title character appearing in various surreal situations, often with an undercurrent (in varying degrees of subtlety) of exploring the conventions and limitations of the comic strip form.
