Jocelyn Thomas worked as an illustrator on Marcus Morris' church magazine The Anvil, and after Morris launched the Eagle in 1950 she joined Frank Hampson's studio as a colourist to work on Dan Dare. She left after two years when she got married. She and her husband moved to India.
