"I Flew with Braddock", the adventures of WWII bomber pilot Matt Braddock, started out as a prose serial in the story paper The Rover in 1952, credited to George Bourne, Braddock's navigator in the story, and probably written by Gilbert Dalton. It became a comic strip in the first issue of The Victor in 1961, where it ran on and off until 1983. The strip also appeared in Warlord in 1974.
