1976 Warlord

"Grimm's Gunners", Warlord, 1976

Francisco Cueto i Martí was born in Sabadell, Barcelona, in 1935. He drew a variety of comics in Spain, and found work in the UK in the 50s through the Bardon Art agency, drawing American-style comic books produced by Mick Anglo's Gower Studios, including Annie Oakley, Captain Miracle, Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, TV Heroes and Young Marvelman. In the 60s and 70s he drew for Commando, War Picture Library, Battle Picture Library, Hotspur, Hornet, Lion, Diana, Star Love Stories and Warlord, as well as working in German, Danish and Spanish comics. He died in 1997.
