"Planet of the Shapes" is a comic strip that ran in The Phoenix., written and illustrated by Mike Smith under the pseudonyms of "Rick Tangle" and "Ricardo Tangle". The series began in Issue 0 and ran until issue 52. The comic strips are only half a page and appeared on "The Big News".
