"The Fleet Family", Swift, 1954

Eric Dadswell was an artist who worked for Hulton Press comics in the 1950s, including "The Fleet Family" (1954) in Swift, "Three Sisters of Haworth" (a biography of the Brontë sisters, written by Pamela Green and Kenneth Gravett), and the TV spin-off "Emergency Ward 10" for Girl, and unspecified work for Eagle. He also drew the newspaper strip version of the TV soap The Grove Family. In the early 60s he seems to have worked for romance comics like Valentine and illustrated western stories for annuals, before drawing "Twelve Guilty Men" (1965) and "Sexton Blake" (1968-70) for Valiant, and "The Phantom Viking" (1967) for Champion.
