Fast Forward was a weekly comic published by BBC Magazines from 1989 to 1995. It featured strips and other material based on BBC series.
The first issue was published in September 1989.[1] In 1995 the BBC launched another magazine for the youth market, Chatterbox, and Fast Forward began to drift away from its focus on the BBC; eventually there were only three strips running in it, and only one of these - "Byker Grove" - was based on a TV series.[2]
Strips included...
- "'Allo 'Allo" (first appeared in issue 1)
- "Bread"
- "Byker Grove"
- "The FF Office"
- "The Flintstones" (first appeared in issue 1)
- "Gordon T Gopher"
- "Grange Hill" (first appeared in issue 1)
