Good Dog, Bad Dog Book 1

Dave Shelton (born 1968) is a British cartoonist. He is the creator of "Good Dog, Bad Dog", a children's strip featuring film noir-style dog detectives Kirk Bergman and Duncan McBoo, which appeared in 2008/9 in the shortlived British weekly comic The DFC and The Guardian's (similarly shortlived) Saturday children's supplement The Comic. In March 2010 the book collection of the strip was published by David Fickling Books, the first volume in The DFC Library, an imprint collecting work from The DFC.

Shelton went on to become a regular contributor to The DFC's spiritual successor The Phoenix, creating occasional strips starring a character named Malcolm Bewley and a continuation of "Good Dog, Bad Dog", which is due to be collected in a second DFC Library book.
