Antonio Canale was born in Monza, Italy on 25 February 1915. He joined the Italian comics industry as an assisant to Nino Pagot, and drew his first comics in 1937. Aside from his work in Italy, in the 50s he worked in British comics, drawing Buck Jones and Buffalo Bill stories in Cowboy Comics Library, Spy 13 and John Steel stories in Thriller Picture Library, and others. He died in Chiavari on 23 October 1991.
